The Volusia County Reef Research Dive Team is made up of local volunteer divers and residents to help support the creation and data gathering of the artificial and natural reefs located offshore from Ponce Inlet. The team has been instrumental in gathering data that has shown the benefit of the creation of artificial reefs for marine life of all kinds offshore in Volusia County.
