"Last night, our son was complaining of severe stomach pain. I took him to the Emergency Room at Penn Highlands State College.

After CT scans and talking to radiologists, our Cooper thankfully has nothing major wrong. As he was trying to get comfortable in the ER and in between sleeps, the sweet nurse brought in a Jared Box. I’ve heard of them but had no idea what to expect. This is literally the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen! And the handwritten letter of encouragement made my eyes tear up.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ER & hospital visits are scary for any little one, this puts a big smile on their faces! Great job! “-Brittany Supko

Big thanks to the Renegades, a Military Spouse Kickball Association team from Quantico, who donated 89 Jared Boxes!! These boxes will bring the gift of play to children in our emergency rooms and hospitals. Ladies, the children (and their parents!) will be so glad to get your gifts. Jared Box Smiles at Conemaugh Miners Hospital!

“Your Jared Box made this tired mama cry. I love that you took a terrible situation and turned it into triumph! We were at Conemaugh Miners Hospital last night and my daughter, Charlee, received a Jared Box.
She was so excited when her nurse, Amy, came in and gave the box. She was so excited that there were kitties in it and kept saying “Mommy, Daddy, Sissy and Bubba!” She even called her brother to show him. It made my 2 year olds night a lot better as mom forgot her little cow stuffed animal at home.”
