Due to the current restrictions because of the Corona virus and after meeting with Board members today, following the recommendations of government and health officials, we are cancelling the 6th Annual Virginia Rose Foundation Silent Auction scheduled for March 28. We thank all those who have donated to the Foundation and want to assure you that we will be donating to those in need. We would like to offer if anyone is in need of food and unable to leave home from being voluntarily quarantined, if we can help in any way such as picking up food or water or supplies, to let us know. We will keep it confidential.Please send out good thoughts and prayers for everyone today!

Just a reminder>>>>>No entry fee Silent Auction and Bake Sale at the Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek March 28,2019 from 1000am to 2pm featuring gift baskets, antiques, donations from local restaurants, Lykens Markets, Panera Bread, Rey Azteca, 4 imprint, 6 Flags, Altoona Curve, Ross Dress for less, Pittsburgh Zoo, Centre County YMCA, Childrens Museum of Pitsburgh, Harrisburg Area Riverboat Sociaety, Ciocca Dealership, area sports teams, Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, Advance Disposal , Wegmans, Del Grossos, and many more arriving daily . Soups, sloppy joes, hot dogs and bake goods can be purchased, water and coffee provided. Benefits the Virginia Rose Foundation who provides scholarships for Licensed Practical Nursing students and to help children and families in need from disaster and those receiving cancer treatment. We are honored to have been able to donate lap robes and seat belt protectors to the knapper Cancer Clinic in Danville on Friday the staff there were very thankful for the donations and they said that patients would appreciate them very much.
