R&R Sanctuary is currently operating as a small foster-based rescue with the ability to pull from several high-kill shelters, provide licensed foster homes, and adopt to verified individuals. Adoption applications and fees apply. It is our goal that the foster home serves as a temporary placement until a proper forever home is found. We aim to provide education about pet care and an understanding that pets are a lifetime commitment. We promote population control by spaying and neutering our pets as well as requiring resident pets to be sterilized prior to adoption. Our current focus is dogs and cats with occasional small creatures. VISION
R&R Sanctuary plans to operate a facility to offer life-long sanctuary to animals who are less adoptable or cannot be placed. We will continue to use fosters homes to save the lives of animals as we believe a home environment is best. We hope to expand our network and become well-known and respectable within the rescue community.

Seriously… what is it going to take to get this girl noticed?

Mama Kitty watches kittens come and go while she patiently waits for someone to see her. Not because she’s shy. Not because she’s difficult. Quite the opposite.

This beautiful girl has never met a stranger. She greets everyone like an old friend, happily accepts attention from anyone willing to give it, and would gladly spend her days following you around the house asking for love. She has no concept of personal space and honestly prefers it that way.

If you’re looking for a cat that hides when company comes over, Mama Kitty is not your girl. If you’re looking for a social butterfly who wants to be involved in everything you’re doing, she’s perfect.

She’s loving. She’s friendly. She’s outgoing. She’s ready.

And yet somehow she’s still waiting.

Our Community Outreach Director, Leslie, is the definition of nonstop.

Every day she is answering pleas, coordinating TNR efforts, helping community cats, arranging spay/neuter appointments, offering resources, and working tirelessly to help animals and the people who care for them. It’s often a thankless job, but every now and then someone sees just how much heart and effort she pours into this work.

Today, one of our dedicated TNR feeders did just that.

Not only did she make the required $50 alteration donation, she also donated an additional $100, gifted this amazing trap, and filled it with goodies as a thank you for everything Leslie does. 💕

Acts like this remind us that rescue isn’t done by one person. It isn’t done by one organization. It takes fosters, feeders, donors, transporters, volunteers, advocates, and supporters all coming together for the animals.

It takes a village.

Perfect? We think so.

This sweet senior lady may be a little older, but don’t tell her that. Merida still has plenty of love, tail wags, and cuddles left to give. She adores everyone she meets and has quickly become best friends with her tiny foster fur sister. 🐾

Merida’s favorite things include being near her people, making new friends, and soaking up all the love she can get. She’s proof that age is just a number and that some of the very best dogs come with a little extra wisdom.

Meet Eloise Bridgerton — the independent thinker, the rule breaker, and the tiny queen who believes personal space is a very serious matter… unless she decides otherwise.
