While she’s at work, her baby is being an excellent boy at home! lol she even has a special channel tuned in for him and his bird brother! Hahaha. Living his best life for sure! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks to Marty and Barry for joining Doug and I at Senior Connections yesterday! It was great to have the extra help!

Barry and Laura will be distributing food at Senior Connections next month, June 12, 1-3. Possibly Laura’s hubby will join in on the fun 😉 lol along with Donna! Dependent on their schedules, etc. Thanks guys for covering for us. (I’m having a knee replacement on the 11th YAY! I honestly can’t happen soon enough.)

Barry and Cindy will be taking care of Tuesdays’ distributions during my recovery, along with help from our packaging crew! ❤️. Teamwork! ( I hope to be gone only 1 Tuesday, following my surgery, and returning the next.)

We are still looking for an additional volunteer for Tuesdays 10-2. We can certainly handle it with 3 of us, but it’s really nice to have that extra person, especially with camping season approaching, etc.

We’ve had some interest, but it’s really important to find the right fit. Communication, working as a team, being able to take direction (and not give it lol), ability to lift 30-50 pound bags (it really can be a very physical job), and committing yourself to 10-2 on Tuesdays are all musts. If interested, please contact me. We do have a lot of fun and we are very appreciated by our community.

I would highly recommend not buying from this oversees company! I ordered two couch covers and they don’t even match. They use different color thread on the white covers. Also, the covers are not the sizes they should be. They are inches shorter. They advertise a 30 day refund but yet they won’t give me one. The best they can give me is 50% off. I don’t want two couch covers that don’t match and don’t fit my couch at $50. No thank you very much. I could do better at Walmart by buying two throws. I tried to report this to Facebook, but Facebook won’t let you comment on what happened. I tried to enter a review, but I could not do it on Facebook. I have nothing left to do except contact my bank and hope that they can do something. I learned my lesson for sure!….Shop In the United States of America. I put this on my Rescue page because I’m thinking a lot of pet parents Might think these are the cats meow Lol no pun intended. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

We now have a new corner in our pantry … we have yet to name it. lol! Any suggestions? It’s for “people” items that are often seen at garage/yard/sidewalk sales. Bunny started us off, and today Barry and I brought in quite a few goodies!

Anyone is welcome to come and shop our goodie corner. All proceeds go directly towards pet food and supplies.

If you have anything you’d like to donate, you may drop off between 10-2 on Tuesdays or 1-3 on Thursdays. We are asking for items valued at $5 and above due to limited space.
