Once again I'm proud to announce that North Boone Post 205 will be participating in the scholarship awards program at North Boone High School.
This year we have seven students applying for scholarships.
Our program is to help students going into the medical field. In the recent past we included Fire and Police because of the EMS training they receive.
This year recognizing the history of agriculture and animal husbandry in North Boone we have also accepted two student who are pursuing careers in veterinary careers.
Congratulations to all the graduates of class 2026.
The American Legion and North Boone Post 205 are proud of you all.

Our next membership meeting is being planned for April. As soon as we confirm avalibility at the Poplar Grove Fire Station on Hwy. 173 I'll post date and time.
This will be an oppertunity for anyone interested in joining our post to GET-ER-DONE 😃
Refreshments and donuts will be served.

We had a tour of Bravehearts in Poplar Grove this afternoon. We're so glad to help in a small way by donating to such a wonderful organization.

At the creation of the National League of POW/MIA Families on May 28, 1970, the League’s mission is to obtain the release and return of all prisoners, the fullest possible accounting for the missing, and the repatriation of remains of those not yet recovered who died while serving our nation.
