We are packed and ready for our final “Ready for the World“ social-emotional workshop on Monday! We are thankful for our full class of participants, it’s been fun to learn together with families that invest so much time and effort into helping their children be successful in life. In 3 weeks we have covered “When I feel angry, sad, and scared”…and Monday we get to cover “When I Feel Happy”! Our take-home sensory tool is a liquid-motion tile, which is excellent for using our energy to jump for joy. UPDATE ON TONIGHT'S WORKSHOP: Although anyone is welcome to attend this workshop series, there are a limited amount of seats left that will receive the learning tools/visual aids. It's not too late to register.

Only 2 seats left, North-Central Oklahoma families! We are a little over a week away from the start of our free social-emotional workshop series! Support your young children in handling "Big Feelings" with our "Ready for the World" Great for families with children ages 2-7 years, caregivers will meet together to learn about strategies for helping their children with emotional regulation (and may even learn some strategies themselves!). We will cover four Big Emotions, one per week...sad, angry, happy, and scared, and each week you will leave with great information, a children's book over the topic, and a sensory item to help you and your child practice at home. Seating and supplies are limited, use the registration form below to reserve a seat! We are meeting at City Central's Summit Room on:

Had a great time with Kristan Lawson connecting with caregivers at the Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Indians World Breastfeeding Month event a few weeks ago. We were able to offer some nice door prizes and inform caregivers about how Parents as Teachers National Center services in their community promotes the optimal early development, learning and health of their babies!
