Come see us at the Community Health Foundation of Kay County United Way of North Central Oklahoma, Inc. Mental Health Festival at Warr Memorial Park in Ponca City. We have an obstacle course for the littles, and information on how physical activity can help reduce the effects of stress in children and caregivers. Enter to win a Summer Fun Wagon! Hello parents of new babies! The Parents as Teachers program supports families with young children by providing home visits, developmental screenings, and resources to help parents foster their child’s early learning and healthy development. Several caregivers in our program have expressed interest in a support group for expectant families. Please provide feedback so we can create a virtual group that works best for you so that you can be connected to other caregivers experiencing the same delights and challenges of having a new baby! Groups will be held using Zoom, and be facilitated by a Parents as Teachers Parent Educator. If you would like to be notified of the group scheduling, leave your name and phone number in the comment box at the bottom of the survey. We are in north-central Oklahoma, but the group is welcome to all.
