Weather update for Goblins on Grand 2026!

🎃 A Little Goblins on Grand Weather Update! 🌧️

We're keeping an eye on Thursday's forecast and crossing our fingers that Mother Nature cooperates!

As of now, Goblins on Grand is still scheduled for Thursday, October 15, from 5:30–7:30 PM! 👻

Just as a reminder, we do have a scheduled rain date of Thursday, October 22, should the weather require us to postpone.

We're monitoring the forecast closely and will share any updates or changes as soon as a decision is made.

For now, we're still planning for a fun-filled evening in Downtown Ponca City! 🎃🧡

Community Ideas Inspire a Downtown Storefront Transformation

🎨 Notice something new downtown? This storefront (located at 324 E. Central Ave.) got a creative upgrade today!

Our Design Committee just completed a placemaking project that brings new life to a vacant downtown space through window art inspired by your feedback! Responses to our community survey helped shape the artwork, showcasing ideas for what residents would like to see—or see more of—in Downtown Ponca City.

This project supports our Placemaking Transformation Strategy and the goal to develop vacant spaces for new uses. By making this empty storefront more inviting, we’re sparking conversations and helping people imagine what the space could become in the future.

A special thank you to Red Dirt Rosie for bringing our vision to life through her window art! You did a wonderful job capturing the possibilities for this space. ❤️

Yesterday, members of the Ponca City Main Street Board of Directors gathered with Oklahoma Main Street Center staff for our annual board retreat.

The retreat gave us time to review current initiatives, set goals for the future, and ensure that our work supports our mission, vision, and transformation strategies: Placemaking and Business Recruitment and Retention.

We’re grateful to the employers who gave their staff time to participate and to the small business owners who stepped away from their busy schedules to join us. Your time, ideas, and commitment help shape the future of Downtown Ponca City!
