An Evening of Honor and Gratitude | Plymouth Professional Business Women’s Recognition Banquet
Together, we uplift, empower, and build a stronger community.
On Thursday, April 23rd, the Plymouth Professional Business Women (PBW) gathered for annual Recognition Banquet. Under the leadership of PBW President Michelle Manthey, we reflected on our 2025-2026 season and how PBW gave back to organizations in our area with proceeds from our Cheesehead Chase.
We discussed the upcoming Cheesehead Chase Plymouth WI on Saturday, July 11, 2026. This cherished event is the driving force behind the scholarships and donations we are honored to provide each year, fostering education and empowerment in our community.
The PBW Scholarship Committee, consisting of Deb Friederichs, Dr. Cindy Munson, Lisa Gottsacker, Kelly Bauters, Robin Lenhart, Megan Coranado, Amy Van Ess and Michelle Manthey reviewed our many applications and narrowed to four scholarship applications this year. We proudly awarded $2,000 scholarships to:
🎓 Macie Abraham
🎓 Ruby Lucksted
🎓 Addison Meyer
🎓 Sadie Pieterick
These outstanding scholars were recognized not only for their commitment to continued education but also for the heartfelt essays and applications that deeply resonated with our Scholarship Committee. We extend sincere gratitude to Amanda Kroener, Megan Corando, Robin Lenhart and Kelly Bauters for presenting insights into the applications to the audience.
Continuing our tradition of honoring extraordinary women, Michelle Manthey shared the selection criteria for PBW’s prestigious Woman of the Year award, a time-honored recognition dating back to 1994. This year, Tina L Schlichting, Director at The Schlichting Group, Baird Private Wealth Management nominated Megan Coronado as our 2026 Woman of the Year. The nomination letter was read by Pamela Grahl during the evening event. Here are a few extracts:
“Megan has become an increasingly active and influential presence in her community. She has been sought out to serve on various boards, committees, and organizations including the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth Public Library Foundation, and the Sheboygan Estate Planning Council. Her involvement in PBW marked one of her early community engagements, further solidifying her commitment to contributing to local initiatives.
Megan exemplifies the qualities of Woman of the Year: professionalism, integrity, leadership, community engagement and unwavering dedication to others. I am confident that her continued achievements will reflect the same excellence she has consistently demonstrated throughout her career.” – Tina Schlichting
Thank you to all who attended this event and to Amore for the delicious food and to Allechant Boutique for the amazing gifts for our recipients.
