Meet some of the Proven Media Solutions team! The Panther network doesn't end at graduation. 💚

Today, PSU alumni are building businesses, leading teams, and helping organizations tell their stories. Plymouth State alumnus Dustin Siggins '08, founder of Proven Media Solutions, recently welcomed fellow Panther Stephanie Boucher '09, '11G to the team as Sales Manager.

As students, Dustin and Stephanie were both actively involved in campus leadership. Dustin served in Student Senate and worked on the student newspaper, while Stephanie founded Plymouth State's Model UN student organization. They reconnected earlier this year when Dustin was looking for someone to help lead key aspects of the company's sales efforts.

Today, Stephanie brings her expertise in business development, sales growth, and operations to Proven Media Solutions. She leads key parts of the company's sales process, develops tools that help prospective clients better understand what it's like to work with the firm, and created the Key Insights Report, a monthly collaboration with communications leaders across the industry.

The Panther connection doesn't stop there—Rhiannon McHugh '08, owner of Do Something Different Media, partners with the team on website development, graphic design, and other creative initiatives. Fellow alumni Alex Ward '08, '13G, Lee Rashkin '11, and Julie Ferland have also lent their expertise as consultants.

From student leaders to business leaders, it's inspiring to see the connections formed at Plymouth State continue to shape careers and bring Panthers back together years later. To learn more about Proven Media Solutions, visit provenmediasolutions.net.

Congratulations to Captain Jamie Moore, PSC Class of 1993 and former member of the Plymouth State Alumni Association Board of Directors, on being named Acting Chief. Another example of fulfilling our motto of Ut Prosim (Latin for That I May Serve).

METHUEN, MA – Mayor D.J. Beauregard today announced the appointment of Captain James “Jamie” Moore as Acting Chief of the Methuen Police Department, effective upon the retirement of Chief Scott J. McNamara on August 24, 2026.

Captain Moore will lead the department while the City conducts a search for its next permanent Chief of Police.

“Captain Moore is an exceptional leader who has dedicated over three decades of his career to serving the people of Methuen,” said Mayor Beauregard. “He is deeply respected within the department and throughout our community, and I have complete confidence in his ability to provide steady leadership during this transition.”

Captain Moore began his career with the Methuen Police Department in 1993 in the department’s dispatch division before becoming a police officer. Over more than 30 years of service, he has held positions of increasing responsibility and has become one of the department’s most trusted leaders. He currently commands the Special Services and Professional Standards Bureau, where he has played a key role in departmental accreditation, policy development, officer training, and organizational excellence.

In recommending Captain Moore for promotion to Captain in 2025, Chief McNamara praised his professionalism, strategic vision, integrity, and unwavering commitment to both the department and the community. Captain Moore was also the top-ranked candidate on the Massachusetts Civil Service eligibility list for promotion to Captain in the Methuen Police Department.

“I want to thank Chief McNamara for his extraordinary leadership and dedicated service to the City of Methuen,” Mayor Beauregard said. “Under his leadership, the department has strengthened its commitment to professionalism, accountability, accreditation, and community policing. His legacy will have a lasting impact on the department, and I know Captain Moore is well prepared to continue that tradition during this transition.”

Chief McNamara announced earlier this year that he will retire effective August 24 after a distinguished career in law enforcement.

The City will conduct a comprehensive search for its next permanent Chief of Police. The position will be open to both internal and external candidates through a competitive process to identify the best individual to lead the department into the future. Additional details regarding the search process will be announced in the coming weeks.

“As Acting Chief, Captain Moore will ensure continuity of operations while maintaining the high standards of professionalism and public service our residents have come to expect from the Methuen Police Department,” Mayor Beauregard said. “I appreciate his willingness to step into this important leadership role and provide the stability and continuity our department and community deserve while we conduct a thorough search for our next permanent chief.”
