Three cities. Three packed rooms. One cause. 💙💛

Thank you, Hanover, Philadelphia and New York, for dancing in the aisles with Kommuna Lux, the talented band from Odesa bringing Ukrainian klezmer across the U.S.

Every concert supports food, warmth and mental healthcare for Ukraine's children and families... with tens of thousands of dollars raised!

Dancing here to help children heal there.

Our Common Man for Ukraine co-founder Susan Mathison said it best during a recent interview with GBH’s Boston Public Radio.

As Common Man for Ukraine continues providing mental health retreats to Ukrainian children as well as widows, we consistently ask for feedback from the attendees. The information we gather is then thoughtfully implemented so that we can provide the most impactful programming possible.

Our Mothers’ Retreat welcomes widows of Ukraine’s war to gather in beautiful Zakopane, Poland. There the women spend about 10 days together, along with a Ukrainian psychologist.

For many of these women, this is the first time since their husbands died that they are provided with mental health support, side-by-side with other women coping with the same loss.
