Our latest humanitarian convoy to Ukraine is complete. Common Man for Ukraine’s American leaders and our Polish Rotary partners are now safely back in Poland.

Before returning to the U.S., our team went back to Zakopane, Poland, where the August session of our Mothers’ Retreat is underway. This mental health program runs for 10 days each month for the widows of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

Co-Founder Lisa Mure shares this update about the visit:

“Oh my goodness, what a last day. We met 17 of the most brave, beautiful, and strong women—the wives of Ukraine’s heroes, the soldiers who have given their lives for their country. We laughed with them and cried with them. We listened to their stories of their husbands, their children and their communities....There were so many hugs and tears. It was one of the most beautiful expressions of humanity—all of us hugging, and thanking each other."

Thank you all for making this Mothers’ Retreat program, our mental health retreat for the children of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, and our humanitarian aid convoys possible. Please consider setting up a monthly donation today to support our recurring aid work. We—and the Ukrainian children and families we serve—appreciate your support!

Quite a surprise at our convoy's last stop this week at a refugee center.

“People are still suffering here, and we need to find peace for Ukraine, a successful peace."

That's what Common Man for Ukraine co-founder Lisa Mure shared when speaking with News Center Maine's Vivien Leigh from the front lines of Ukraine.

Faces from the front.

Mere miles from Russian soldiers, these Ukrainian children live in their liberated villages. Their childhoods disrupted. Their education derailed. Yet, their spark remains.

Why do we travel so close to the front lines to deliver aid? These Ukrainian children of war deserve nothing less from us.

Thank you for supporting these children and their chance at a brighter tomorrow. Visit commonmanforukraine.org to learn more.

We're so inspired by our Holderness School student-partners!

Their service-minded leadership is an inspiration to us all, and the impact they have on the Ukrainian children who they mentor is immense and immediate.

War. Humanity. The innocent and the helpers.

Common Man for Ukraine successfully brought 48,000 pounds of food this week to 16 frontline Ukrainian villages, including 4 eastern locations today. This help was made possible by donations by individuals and foundations made up of human beings showing care for fellow human beings.

More than 4.5 years into all-out war, we continue to be in awe of the Ukrainians we meet each day. Ukrainians' resolve. Their strength. Their spirit. Their undeterred hope and determination for an independent future.

Please share this post and keep Ukraine's story top of mind! commonmanforukraine.org

On a day filled with drone attacks and warnings.

On Ukraine's National Flag Day, just one day before Ukrainian Independence Day.

Our deliveries are now underway.

When our Common Man for Ukraine volunteers arrived at today's first Ukrainian village and set up our table to distribute food and other critical aid, we immediately felt the crush of humanity.

Heartwarming. Heartbreaking. All at once.

Desperate and deeply grateful Ukrainian families rushed to line up to receive a 40-day supply of essential calories, as well as newly added personal care goods like shampoo.

Throughout the next several days, we'll arrive at 16 villages to distribute 48,000 pounds of food—aid made possible thanks to your support.

Today, we're in the midst of visiting six of those frontline villages.

The journey to these villages from the Poland-Ukraine border involved two full days of driving.

Along the way, air raid sirens blared loudly. Anti-drone netting covered many, but not all, of the roadways.

One of our many stops was at a gas station that had been the site of a Russian air attack just two weeks earlier.

At another store, we were about to purchase a watermelon. Out of an abundance of caution, we used the Geiger counter to check the radiation levels to ensure the fruit would be safe to eat. The Geiger counter showed radiation at 60 times higher than the acceptable level.

This is life in Ukraine right now.

Our humanitarian aid convoy continues throughout the week.

Please donate what you can to support Ukraine’s innocent children and families at commonmanforukraine.org.

"Every child deserves help."

With those words, Common Man for Ukraine co-founder Susan Mathison told Boston 25 News on Ukrainian Independence Day why the NH-based nonprofit entered the war-town nation once again, delivering food and humanitarian aid to frontline villages.

On Ukraine’s Independence Day, the nation’s spirit and resolve remain strong.

Ukraine inspires us.

To mark this important day, our volunteers delivered food and critical humanitarian aid to villages near the eastern front.

Innocent Ukrainian children and families who did not have enough food now do, for now, thanks to your generosity.

Support Ukraine on its Independence Day by donating what you can at commonmanforukraine.org. Together, we can .
