Stories from Jamaica: Powerful testimonies from Pastor Robert.

Three women. Three different needs. One faithful God who met every one at their point of need! This is why we go. The Lord is our Shepherd, and He is good. 🙏🏻✝

Jamaica Mission Report:
As our medical team, arrived in Black River, St Elizabeth Parish Jamaica on July 25, we were met with the lasting impact of Hurricane Melissa. The catastrophic hurricane that decimated the Black River community. The hurricane made landfall at reported wind speeds of over 200 mph, destroying anything in its path! Black River hospital, the town square, churches and family homes fell to its destructive force. By the grace of God, we were able to provide a free medical clinic to over 400 families and individuals who lacked resources to buy medication. Our medical team performed four minor surgeries, ultrasound technicians performed nearly 120 ultrasound exams, pharmacists filled nearly 1500 prescriptions, our prayer and counseling team ministered to hundreds and especially to 25-35 children and adults who were traumatized. We provided over 100 school supplies bags for school age children returning to school, performed nearly 300 back to school medical forms, and provided 200 pair of school shoes. While the numbers may be misleading, the testimonies of those we served, the smiles and gratitude tell of a lasting impact that made the difference in their lives. Through this experience, we have learned that success is not always measured by numbers, but the impact!
We encourage you to follow us across social media platforms for updates and information.

As our ZOYA Ministries team prepares to leave for Jamaica, our hearts are filled with gratitude and anticipation for all that God has planned. We are honored to partner with Christian Brethren Assemblies Jamaica and have the opportunity to serve the people of Black River, sharing the love of Christ through medical care, humanitarian aid, encouragement, and the hope of the Gospel.

We would be so grateful if you would join us in prayer over the coming days. Please pray for:
🤍 Safe travels for our entire team
🤍 Good health and strength as we serve
🤍 Open hearts to receive God’s love
🤍 Wisdom and compassion in every interaction
🤍 Protection over our team and the communities we will serve
🤍 That God would be glorified in everything we do

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” — Matthew 25:40

Thank you for partnering with us through your prayers. We believe God is already at work, and we can’t wait to see how He moves in Jamaica. Please keep our team in your prayers throughout the week as we seek to be His hands and feet. ❤️🇯🇲

He is Risen! ✝️🌅

This Easter, we celebrate the victory of hope, love, and new life through Jesus Christ. “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

May this beautiful season remind us of God’s unfailing love and the promise of renewal in our lives. No matter where you are on your journey, His grace is enough, and His light shines in every darkness.

We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of our supporters. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity allow us to continue the work God has called us to do. Thank you for standing with us and being part of this mission.

Wishing you and your family a blessed and joyful Easter! 💛

Facebook Friends,

As many of you know, October 2025, western Jamaica, especially the town of Black River in St. Elizabeth Parish was devastated by Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm and the strongest hurricane on record to hit the island. The hurricane destroyed or severely damaged homes, businesses, and the local hospital, and while aid is ongoing, the needs remain great.

We strongly believe Zoya has been called to help the people in Jamaica. They are still in great need. This work aligns with Zoya's own mission which is to provide hope and healing to the poor, the orphaned, and their communities through medical and humanitarian aid. We will be ministering especially in the town of Black River in St. Elizabeth Parish where much of the city still is in ruins. Our mission trip is scheduled for July 25-Aug. 2, 2026.
