🌟 Meeting Recap: – June 14, 2026 🌟
What an exceptional, high-level afternoon of growth, evaluation, and breakthrough moments at Let’s Talk Toastmasters! As an advanced club, we gather to push boundaries, and today’s meeting did exactly that.

🎤 Meeting Leadership & Themes
Toastmaster of the Day: Nadya Nemova Tatsch served as our Toastmaster of the Day, guiding us through a beautiful vortex of inspiration, setting a powerful stage, and keeping the energy high from start to finish.

The Theme: Celebrate the People You Love—a beautiful focus that brought genuine heart and deep connection to the room.
Word of the Day: Individuality (unique traits that distinguish a person from others). Our speakers wove this theme perfectly into their delivery.

📢 Room Highlights & Shout-Outs
An advanced club thrives because everyone brings their A-game. Huge shout-outs to the rest of our incredible room:
@UrennaUkonne stepped up to the plate and bravely delivered her Icebreaker speech, sharing her unique voice with the club! She also mastered As I See It, our club's special twist on Table Topics.
@StevenMalecek pulled double duty, serving diligently as our Timer/Vote Counter and delivering an excellent, insightful Editorial Speech about a "Special Place."
@SivasankariPrabakar brought tremendous value to the afternoon, performing a fantastic evaluation and diving headfirst intoTableTopics and As I See It sessions.
@RitaTaylor, DTM2 was a true powerhouse today. She masterfully ran "Table Topics and kept us on track as our General Evaluator.

🥇 Best Speaker: Urenna Ukonne delivered a powerhouse presentation for the Speakers Choice section, completely captivating the room.
🥇 Best Table Topics: Gene Gray showcased incredible agility, and presence of mind during our impromptu session.
🥇 Best Evaluator: Nemova-Tatsch delivered master-level, sharp, actionable feedback during the evaluation session to help our speakers reach their next level.

What a heartfelt and high-energy evening at Let’s Talk Advanced Toastmasters! Our meeting theme, "Mother’s Love," set the stage for moving stories and high-level insights, proving that the most impactful speaking comes straight from the heart.

🎤 Key Highlights & Shout-Outs
The Master of Ceremonies: A huge shout-out to Renee Walker Walker, our Toastmaster of the Day! She guided us through the evening with incredible poise, keeping the flow seamless and the energy high from start to finish.

Impromptu Wisdom: Kevin Suber Suber delivered a powerful 5-minute impromptu speech on wealth, challenging us to think deeper about our resources and mindset.

🏆 Award Winners
Join us in celebrating a "double crown" night for our standout performer:
🥇 Best Speaker & Best Evaluator: Nadya Nemova Tatsch It was a clean sweep for Nadya! She captivated the room with her speech, "From Vacuum to Victory," and provided top-tier evaluations for her fellow members.
We are also incredibly proud to share that Nadya placed 2nd in the Plains Division! Her dedication to the craft continues to demonstrate the high standard of excellence we strive for in our advanced club.

🚀 Word of the Day: Pure Love
Our Lexicologist challenged us to weave the phrase "Pure Love" into our delivery. It was inspiring to hear how our members integrated this theme into their speeches and evaluations throughout the night, perfectly matching our focus on Mother's Love.

February 15th, 2026 Meeting Recap: The Art of Your Heart ❤️

What an incredible session we had today! Our meeting was expertly guided by our Toastmaster of the Day, Nadya Nemova Tatsch, who led us through a powerful exploration of the "Art of Your Heart"—from the physical strength of the muscle to the emotional and universal connections that drive us. We challenged ourselves to reach for the Word of the Day: Greatness.

Meeting Highlights:

Prepared Speeches:
Shivasankari Prabakar delivered a thought-provoking Editorial speech on the power of morning habits. It was a perfect tie-in to our theme, reminding us how our daily rituals set the rhythm for our hearts.

The Rebuttal:
Steven J. Malecek provided a sharp and engaging Rebuttal, showcasing the high-level critical thinking we value in our advanced club.

Signature Advanced Topics:
We dove into our club's unique impromptu formats! Rita Taylor led our "As I See It" session, and Siva stepped in to lead a dynamic Table Topics session.

Masterful Evaluations:
Feedback is where we truly grow. A huge thanks to our evaluators—Rita Taylor, Steven J. Malecek, and Sivasankari Prabakar—for their sharp insights.

🎤 Meeting Recap: New Beginnings & Advanced Leadership! 🚀
What a powerful way to kick off our year! On January 11th, Let’s Talk Advanced Toastmasters gathered for a meeting filled with renewal, connection, and high-level skill building.

Our Toastmaster of the Day, Rita Taylor set the tone with our theme, "New Beginning," and challenged us to use the Word of the Day: Renewal.

Highlights of the Day:
Icebreaker Success: A huge congratulations to our newest member, Urenna, for delivering her first speech! Your journey has officially begun.

The Crack of the Bat: Professor Kevin Suber took us to the stadium with a fascinating speech on his favorite and least favorite baseball locations. ⚾️

Signature Table Topics: Dr. Renee Walker led an incredible impromptu session and Dr. Suber , featuring our club's unique "As I See It" style—an advanced format adopted from Toastmasters in Greece by Hanson.

Masterful Evaluations: A hallmark of an advanced club is the quality of our feedback, and this week was exceptional. A special thank you to our fabulous evaluators, Shivasankari Prabakar and Suber. Your insightful, sharp, and encouraging evaluations are what help our members truly refine their craft and reach that next level of speaking excellence.

🗣️ Let's Talk 11/9/2025 Club Meeting Recap: Vibrant Energy & Pure Joy! 🏆
Our meeting this past Sunday was a true demonstration of Vibrancy, Diversity, and Pure Joy! The snapshot truly said it all.

A massive round of applause to our incredible team:
🎉 First-Timer Success: Our Toastmaster of the Day, Urenna, did a fabulous job leading the meeting for the very first time!
🥇 Best Speaker: Congratulations to Dr. Kevin Suber for winning the Best Speaker ribbon after delivering one of three incredible prepared speeches!

💡 Advanced Speaking. Advanced Thinking. | Meeting Recap: October 12, 2025
Today’s theme of "Testing" combined with the Word of the Day, Erudite, created an exceptional learning experience!

Our goal is to move past simply speaking and into truly mastering the craft, which includes seamlessly incorporating highly expressive and sometimes less-used words.

Kudos to Toastmaster of the Day for his erudite guidance on global testing topics, and to Nadya Nemova Tatsch for grounding us in the present with her auditory speech, "The Moment." Renee Walker and Kevin Suber had exceptional "Ice Breaker" speeches. 's Table Topic—"Do you think standardized tests help our kids be more intellectual? Yes or no?"—sparked a fascinating, multi-angled discussion.

We are an Advanced Club dedicated to pushing beyond the average Toastmasters experience. This is where high-level leaders are truly developed.

September 14th, 2025. Our last monthly meeting on September 14 was a game-changer. We explored the meaning of renewal through education, innovation, and family, with "catalyst" as the word of the day.
