We’re a U.S. based NGO that is part of the global Orphans in Need family.

As one of the only dedicated orphan charities in the United States, we are working towards creating a better world, not just for our orphans, but for everyone. Support orphans in their personal development, helping them
learn new skills and improve their professional prospects for the future
Provide relief from hunger and the stress that comes with it,
enabling recent widows to focus on finding income to support their families
Help existing orphanage owners through grants to improve the standard of accommodation and living for the orphans in their care
Offer access and funding for medical care and treatment for those
that don’t have the means to afford it

Meet 9-year-old Goury from Gaza.

In a short period, she suffered the devastating loss of her father, three of her siblings, Abd Al Raouf, Alya, and Sarah, and her family home. Her mother survived critical injuries, leaving them to navigate unimaginable grief and displacement in Al-Daraj.

Though physically uninjured, Goury bears deep emotional scars. She spends her days drawing to process her grief and loneliness, turning her artwork into quiet expressions of loss while wishing for a simple, safe life free from fear.

Through donor support, Orphans in Need USA provides Goury and her mother with essential food parcels, hot cooked meals, and warm winter supplies. This critical assistance gives a surviving mother one less burden to bear as they try to rebuild step by step.

New orphans fall into a category of need every day. Losing their family's primary provider, the financial pressure on the household can become overwhelming. In many underserved communities, this forces children to drop out of school and enter the workforce early just to help meet basic needs.
