🌕 18,000+ attendees. One unforgettable night. A record-breaking Otsukimi! 🇯🇵

Thank you, North Texas! More than 18,000 people came together at Haggard Park for the 2026 Otsukimi Japanese Moon Viewing Festival—making this our largest Otsukimi celebration ever!

From the powerful sounds of Dallas Kiyari Daiko and exciting sumo demonstrations to Japanese dance, live music, cultural activities, incredible food and family fun, the park was filled with the sights, sounds and spirit of Japan.

🌟 A highlight of the evening was our special anime guest Emi Lo, the English voice actress from the hit series The Apothecary Diaries. Anime fans packed the Main Stage for Emi’s special appearance, Q&A and screening—bringing an exciting contemporary side of Japanese culture to this year’s celebration.

We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, performers, vendors, volunteers, partners and the City of Plano for helping make this record-setting event possible. And most of all, thank you to everyone who joined us and celebrated friendship, culture and community under the autumn moon.

🌕 18,000+ reasons to say THANK YOU!
