Today is our last, but never least, Fun Fact Friday!
This summer, six Wayland students spent eight weeks conducting hands-on research through the Welch Summer Research Program, exploring questions surrounding va**ng, tuberculosis, drug resistance and cancer.
From analyzing chemicals in va**ng aerosols to studying tuberculosis DNA and developing new tools for cancer research, these students are gaining experience that goes far beyond the classroom. Their research will continue into the academic year as they prepare to present their findings at scientific conferences.
