Jamielynn Taylor (pictured with her brother, Wrighter) recently raised an incredible $2,100 through her lemonade stand. She used the funds to purchase backpacks, fill them with school supplies, and donate them to State Street Elementary.

The backpacks will be given to students in need and will also be used to recognize students who demonstrate acts of kindness toward others, continuing the spirit of generosity and compassion that Jamielynn so beautifully represents.

Any family in the Wyoming Area or Pittston Area School Districts who feels they may qualify for our toy program is encouraged to come to one of our registration dates at Santa Squad headquarters.
We have tried to be flexible with our sign-up times, offering both weekdays and weekends.
Please understand we cannot accept late registration requests.

We want to take a minute and thank all of the local businesses that made our basket raffle such a success.

Al Car Construction has been with us since the very beginning and words can express how much we appreciate what they do for us. Chris has told me in the past that sponsoring the Santa Squad is their entire advertising budget for the year.

We would like to thank everyone who came out tonight to the Red Mill.
It was great to blow off the dust and get back into the swing with old friends. Thank you to everyone who donated baskets, everyone who bought raffle tickets and of course to the Red Mill for hosting us.

Hey folks, one more reminder about our basket raffle tonight. 17 baskets on display at the Red Mill from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with our drawing immediately afterwards.
As you know, we had to cancel our Christmas in July but already collected these fantastic baskets.
The Refinery, Rikasa, Cracker Barrel, some great summer baskets and a Cloud 9 gift card are a few the baskets up for grabs tonight as well as a Pittston Pizza basket with 18 trays of pizza from various pizzerias around town and a bunch more.
You do not need to be present to win.
Stop by, have a cold one and say hello.

A few notes from the Santa Squad...

Basket Raffle chances will be sold at the Red Mill on August 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with winners announced at 8:00 p.m. 25 chances for $10 and we've got 17 really good baskets including gift cards to top area restaurants, a Pittston Pizza basket consisting of certificates and gift cards for 18 trays of pizza, several summer baskets and more.
We thank the Red Mill for their continued support of the Santa Squad.

In addition Children and Youth are looking for help with their annual back to school backpack drive. If anyone would like to donate a mesh backpack, please reach out to the Santa Squad or Children and Youth, they would appreciate the help.
C&Y are looking for hairdressers for August 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to help with back to school haircuts for children.
If any Barber or beautician would like to volunteer their time and help out some kids, please reach out to Tammy or Rose whose phone numbers are provided on the flyer.
