Congratulations to FHC student Sahil Gandhi! This past summer Sahil was awarded the Frederick Honors College Travel Award to help fund his travels to Kenya. He interned for Affordable Limbs For All, a clinic that provides free services to people with amputations as they navigate rehabilitation.

Sahil had the opportunity to learn about the prosthetic fabrication and fitting processes, develop a greater understanding of rehabilitation practices, and witness firsthand how systematic barriers lead to high costs of both public and private medical care. We are so proud of the great work that Sahil did this summer!
