The Sally and Howard Levin Clubhouse takes on the Washington Wild Things!

On Tuesday, June 2, we enjoyed a trip to the Wild Things and Gateway Grizzlies baseball game. Crisp air and blue sunny skies made a perfect day to watch a ballgame. Upon arrival, we were greeted with open arms and shown to our private suite overlooking the home plate. Concession stands were full of delicious snacks and drinks. There was a lot to be seen including a dance competition and a friendly boxing match between the two respective team's mascots. The Wild Things took the victory with a final score of 7-3!

We thank the Washington Wild Things for hosting us and for a wonderful day at the ballgame!

On Tuesday, May 12, the Sally and Howard Levin Clubhouse came together for an evening to feel forever young. Following our annual gala, Breaking Down the Walls, we continued to raise awareness for mental health by celebrating our accomplishments together.

We started off with the memory of Wendell Hogan, a member of the Clubhouse who passed in 2024, and shared his mental health recovery story. Since his passing, we honored his long-lasting memory with the creation of the Wendell Hogan Award. This year’s recipient, Paul Terry, read Wendell’s story in his honor.

The evening also included raffles with everyone winning a prize, which included gift cards, Kennywood tickets and more. We also enjoyed refreshments and learned that strawberries aren’t bad with cheese! We would like to give special thanks to our continued supporter Robert Levin for his dedication and love for the Clubhouse community. We would also like to thank everyone at the Clubhouse including staff, the board, and members for all the help in making this event possible.
