🌈 Partner Spotlight: St. Mark's Lutheran Church 🌈

Brookline Pride is proud and deeply grateful to welcome St Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church as a community partner in our September 12th celebration! 🏳️‍🌈✨

For many LGBTQIA+ people, faith has been a complicated, even painful space. Too many of us have been told we don't belong in communities that are supposed to represent love and welcome. That's what makes the presence of an affirming faith community so meaningful. When a church walks alongside its LGBTQIA+ neighbors and says, "You belong here. We see you. We celebrate you," that is not a small thing.
That is everything.

St. Mark Lutheran Church's partnership with Brookline Pride is a testament to what it looks like when faith shows up for its whole community, not just part of it.

Along Brookline Blvd. I stand where history aimed high,
A barrel pointed at the sky.
I've watched this neighborhood for years,
through change and laughter, pride and tears.
Look close, not in my barrel's end,
but near my base, around the bend.
Reach down, look low, and you will find
