With just going through surgery I aint able to go hustle around so tryna find someone who is willing to lend a hand to get these kids up north to ride . Thanks. This is the Big Foot Ride that we are supporting with our 23 families we were able to give Christmas to because of your support. If anyone wants to support this ride for gas and food for all these youth riding to remember Wounded Knee and looking to the seven generations in the future, go to our site to donate and we will make sure they get it and thank you for all that you have done to make this a blessed Christmas for so many childrenl.

We are very excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Healing of Our Children & Youth Teachers Conference, next month at the Ramkota in Rapid City, Sept 12th - 14th. The conference is a 2.5 day immersive look at health and wellness for our children, youth and community through the life skills lens. Teachers can also earn 1 credit by the University of Sioux Falls for attending the conference with a $45 registration fee*.

Join us for a weekend conference to explore the health and wellness of our children, youth and community! The Life Skills Curriculum developed by Oceti Wakan helps break cycles of intergenerational trauma, instills cultural pride, and equips our children with skills for healthy, resilient lives.

Our children/youth—both on reservations and in surrounding communities—face various forms of trauma affecting their success at school and home. Together, we'll explore educational tools and strategies to address these challenges at their roots.

Joseph M. Marshall III died April 19th of this year. We want to honor his life. His stories of our Lakota ancestors, for which he gave permission to use in our curriculum, have and will help our young people understand the values and virtues that made the Lakota Nation great, encouraging them to strive to enact those same values in their own lives. Thank you, Joseph Marshall III, and we will continue to pray for you on your journey in the Land of the Winds. We encourage you to read his excellent books.
