Electrical Contractor Needed

Special Projects on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation

Red Cloud Renewable is seeking a qualified Electrical Contractor to support special electrical construction and renewable energy projects on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

This is an excellent opportunity for contractors who enjoy travel, meaningful work, and making a direct impact in Native communities. Housing is provided during project assignments, making this an ideal opportunity for professionals seeking project-based work away from home.

Requirements:
Current and valid South Dakota Electrical Contractor (EC) License
Ability to pull permits and perform work in accordance with South Dakota electrical codes and regulations
Experience with commercial, institutional, renewable energy, or special project installations preferred
Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and project schedules
Ability to work collaboratively with project managers.

Project Scope May Include:
Electrical service upgrades
Commercial and institutional electrical installations
Renewable energy and energy efficiency projects
Special construction and infrastructure projects
Troubleshooting, maintenance, and system improvements

Location: Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota

Contract Type: Project-based / Independent Contractor

🌲🏕️ Camp Marrowbone Registration is Open! 🏕️🌲

We're helping get youth signed up for Camp Marrowbone and we'd love to see as many kids from our community attend as possible this summer!

If you need help with registration, stop by the Allen Youth Center Tuesday through Saturday from 12 PM - 8 PM and we'll help you get everything filled out.

We're also asking for a little community support. Many of our youth are excited to go to camp but may not have all the camping gear they need. If you're able to donate, we're currently looking for:

🔦 Flashlights
🛏️ Sleeping bags
🦟 Bug spray
☀️ Sunscreen
💧 Water bottles
🎒 Backpacks or duffel bags
🌧️ Rain ponchos
🧴 Travel-size hygiene items

Donations can be dropped off at the Youth Center during regular hours.

It takes a village to raise our children, and every donation helps make sure our youth can have a fun, safe, and memorable camp experience. Even if you can't donate, please help us spread the word and get our kids signed up!

Yesterday, a rainbow appeared over the Red Cloud Renewable Energy Center after another blessing of rain.

For our people, rain has always been a gift. It nourishes the earth, strengthens the grasses, and brings renewal to all living things. After years when moisture was scarce, these rains remind us to be grateful for the blessings we receive and the balance they help restore to the land.

As we look upon this beautiful sight, we give thanks for the water, the growth it brings, and the promise carried in every season of renewal.

Looking for an unforgettable summer experience for your child? Camp Marrowbone registration is now open!

Camp Marrowbone offers youth the opportunity to connect with culture, build confidence, make new friends, enjoy outdoor adventures, and create lifelong memories. There are multiple camp sessions available, ranging from 1-week to 2-week experiences, so families can choose the option that works best for them.

Children ages 7 and up are encouraged to attend. Some exceptions may be made for younger children if they have older siblings attending camp.

Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: In-person at our Pine Ridge office (Monday–Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support to staff and leadership
Manage scheduling, emails, and basic office coordination
Assist with document preparation, data entry, and record keeping
Support internal communication and organization of projects

Qualifications:

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
-Strong communication and organizational skills
