Our work begins with the people and communities Mazaska serves.
The Mazaska staff recently gathered for a planning retreat facilitated by Lanelle Smith of Black Sheep Consulting. Together, we took an honest look at the needs of Mazaska, the priorities before us, and the steps that will help us serve our people with greater care and purpose.
We arrived unsure of exactly what to expect. We left with a clearer understanding of why we were there—and a renewed commitment to building stronger opportunities for the individuals, families, and communities who place their trust in Mazaska.
The time and travel were well worth it. We are grateful to Lanelle for her guidance, her thoughtful approach, and the space she created for meaningful conversation.
We look forward to the future of Mazaska—and to continuing this work for our people.
