The Simmons First Foundation is proud to celebrate the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff as the Golden Lions welcome alumni, students, families, and friends back home for an exciting Homecoming weekend!

Homecoming is more than just football, festivities, and reconnecting with old friends. It’s a celebration of tradition, pride, and the incredible impact UAPB continues to have on Pine Bluff and communities far beyond!

As a Foundation with deep roots in Pine Bluff, we recognize the importance of UAPB and the opportunities it creates for future generations. We are proud to support a community where education, tradition, and Golden Lion pride run deep!

Simmons First Foundation Executive Director Shannon Morgan traded in her office chair for a go-kart and put her driving skills to the test at the ribbon cutting celebration for the new 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐗𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 in Pine Bluff! Let's just say she may have found a new hobby! 🏎️💨

Today, the Simmons First Foundation team took part in lifesaving CPR and AED training—because making a difference starts with being prepared to help when it matters most.

While our mission is to invest in stronger, healthier communities, today’s training reminded us that sometimes making a difference means having the knowledge and confidence to save a life.

A special thank you to Charles with the Arkansas Children’s Foundation for taking the time to share your expertise and provide such valuable, hands-on training. We are grateful for your commitment to equipping others with skills that truly have the power to save lives.

At Simmons First Foundation, our motto is "Make a Difference," and we are honored to support the Pine Bluff School District by providing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for their schools.

These life-saving devices represent more than just equipment—they are an investment in the safety and well-being of students, educators, staff, and families throughout our community. In an emergency, every second matters, and having access to an AED can make a critical difference.

We believe that creating safer environments for our children to learn and grow is one meaningful way we can live out our mission to Make a Difference.

BEEBE, AR — Arkansas State University-Beebe Regional Career Center medical professions program at Lonoke was recently awarded a grant from Simmons First Foundation for $5,100. MiMi McAfee, medical professions program instructor, said that the grant will cover the cost to purchase new multi-racial cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) mannequins and automatic external defibrillators for the program.
