The Arkansas Thunderbirds enjoyed a great time of fellowship and flying on Saturday with Hands of Honor of Grenada, the Hattiesburg High School JROTC, and multiple members of the community who came to participate in the joint fly-in at the Grenada Municipal Airport. We had a total of five aircraft on hand and we gave roughly 20 discovery flights to young people and a few adults. Hands of Honor also had two horses onsite and gave plenty of rides to the children. We appreciate Mayor Charles Latham for coming out and providing a welcome to the participants and pouring words of wisdom into the attendees. Thanks to our Chapter President Kennedy Taylor for leading our efforts. Thanks also to Ryan Celestine of of Batesville, MS for offering his help with providing the discovery flights, as well as Kidron Taylor, and the pilots from the Luke Weathers Flight Academy of Olive Branch, MS.
