At St. Mary’s Food Bank, volunteers spend just 2 hours packing emergency food boxes that go directly to families, seniors, and children across Arizona.

No overthinking, no complicated setup — just show up, get into a rhythm, and suddenly you’re part of moving up to 1,400 boxes in a single shift.

It’s the kind of thing that starts with “I’ll just see what it’s like” and ends with “wait… that was actually really worth it.”

For the 5th year in a row, Abraham Lincoln Traditional School came together for their annual Cereal Drive! 🥣

The excitement kicked off with the school’s favorite tradition, Domino Event Coin Wars between classrooms. From kindergarten through 8th grade, students competed to raise money while supporting families in need.

The students raised more than $3,000 to purchase cereal, while also collecting cereal donations, canned goods, and cases of water for the community.

This year’s drive collected an incredible 7,500 pounds of donations, helping provide 6,250 meals for families in need.

Thank you to all the students, staff, and families for showing up and helping the community. 💙

Last month, our Junior Hunger Heroes grew something special! 💚 Each of our heroes received their very own kit with seeds, a flower pot, and soil to begin planting. They also got fun "mascot mail" from Jessica Jelly to guide them along the way! 📬✨

Through this activity, our heroes learned where food comes from and how even small actions, like planting and growing, can make a big impact in the fight against hunger.

We loved seeing what everyone grew 🌼🌿
