More great coverage of Hunger Action Week, this time courtesy of KPHO CBS 5 News. This morning, Tyson Chicken delivered almost 30,000 lbs of chicken for food banks around Arizona. Arizona Community Action Association is in the midst of its SNAP (Food Stamp) Experience, where people are blogging about living on $29/week, the avg SNAP budget. Gov. Jan Brewer has declared this week "Hunger Action Week," hoping to raise awareness about the problem, and encourage the community to donate money, food, and their time.
