✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Ashton ✨

We’re celebrating ONE YEAR with Ashton! Over the past year, Ashton has become such a reliable and valued part of Arizonans for Children.

You can usually find him at the front desk, welcoming families and checking them in with a smile, but what we love most is everything he does behind the scenes. Ashton is always looking for ways to do more and use his skills to help better serve the families who visit our center.

Ashton has been helping AFC turn family feedback into meaningful support for our families. Using his background in psychology and research, he created family surveys to better understand their experiences and needs and is now helping us use that feedback to find practical ways to better support the families we serve.

We love you, Ashton, and appreciate everything you do for our families

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: CHELSEA!

We want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing volunteer, Chelsea!

Since joining us in January, Chelsea has become such a crafty, creative, and reliable part of our team. She assists our Birthday Program, where she handpicks birthday gifts for the children in the foster care system and puts so much thought, care, and love into making each gift feel special.

We are so grateful for Chelsea and all that she brings to our center. Volunteers like her truly help make this place a little brighter every day.

Thank you, Chelsea, for all the love you pour into our kids!

🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, Mateys! We Had a Booty-Full of Fun! 🏴‍☠️

Last Saturday, we celebrated International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and there was plenty of fun to go around! From pirate talk to smiles and laughter, we had a treasure chest full of memories.

At Arizonans for Children, we believe every child deserves moments of joy, adventure, and a little silliness along the way. We're always on the lookout for ways to make life a little more magical for the children we serve!
