Curate the 2026 Stage!

What does joy sound like? Our Entertainment committee spends the year scouting talent and designing the "flow" of the festival. We need people who are passionate about the arts to help us build a diverse, high-energy lineup of entertainment.

We need planners to help us:

Develop a lineup for entertainment like trivia, karaoke, and LGBTQ+ performers.

Plan the technical requirements (sound, power, staging) for the Gazebo.

Design the 2026 Parade route and schedule.

If you have experience in event production, talent booking, or performing arts, help us set the stage for Pride!

Ensure Pride is for Everyone.

We heard the feedback loud and clear! Philomath Pride has some work to do to make sure every aspect of the festival is inclusive and welcoming to everyone- and we mean EVERYONE. The Equity & Accessibility committee will be connecting with community members and organizations to identify how to make the festival enjoyable for everybody.

We need planners to help us:

Audit our festival plans for ADA compliance and sensory inclusion.

Arrange the 2026 Zen Den (our low-sensory space).

Consult on inclusive language and community-wide accessibility guides.

If you are an advocate for social justice, a specialist in neurodiversity, or someone committed to unlearning and equity, we need your voice in the planning phase.

Let’s build something beautiful!

Ever wonder how a quiet park turns into a vibrant festival overnight? That’s the heavy lifting of the Logistics committee. These are the hands-on heroes who handle the physical setup, the floor plan, and the "nitty-gritty" that makes the day run smoothly.

We need your help to:

Design the 2026 Site Map and booth layout.

Coordinate the "Load-in" and "Load-out" (tents, tables, and chairs).

Solve on-the-fly puzzles (like where to plug in a bubble machine!).

If you’re a "get-it-done" person who likes being active and working with your hands, come help us transform Philomath City Park for the day!

Plan the flavor of the festival!

Food brings us together, but getting the right vendors and managing feeding a festival takes careful planning. Our Food Committee works months in advance to ensure our festival supports local businesses and feeds our neighbors.

We need planners to help us:

Work with current food vendors and recruit new one for plenty of options.

Manage vendor set up, health and safety strategies, and layout logistics.

If you have a background in hospitality, event catering, or food justice, we need your expertise to fuel our community!

Safety starts with a plan.

At Philomath Pride, we believe that true safety is built on community trust and proactive care. We don’t just "show up" on June 20th; we spend months carefully planning how to keep our celebration peaceful, inclusive, and prepared for anything.

Our Safety Committee is currently looking for organizers to help us build our community care strategy for 2026. This isn't just about standing at a gate, it’s about designing the systems that keep us all thriving.

We need your help to:

Develop our Peacekeeping Strategy: Refine our de-escalation protocols and training for the Pink Flamingo Brigade.

Liaise with First Responders: Coordinate with local emergency services to ensure clear communication and park access.

Health & Wellness Planning: Strategize the placement of hydration stations, first aid hubs, and emergency exit routes.

Team Leadership: Help recruit, train, and manage the safety volunteers who will be on the ground during the festival.

If you have a background in community organizing, emergency management, social work, or simply a passion for creating safe spaces in a small-town setting, your leadership is needed.

Our Community Organization committee is the "behind-the-scenes" engine that works with the City of Philomath, local businesses, and regional organizations to make sure our festival has the people, the space, and the official support it needs to thrive.

✨ We want to give a SHOUT OUT to this awesome event hosted by our friends over at Jackson Street Youth Services - Skate Park After Dark 🛹🛼🚲 NEXT THURSDAY OCTOBER 30 at Philomath Skatepark from 5-7pm

There will be homemade pizzas from Crustworthy, a mobile karaoke unit, hot beverages, a youth clothing closet pop-up, and rock painting activity as well.

These FREE events are focused on providing fun, resources, and connection to youth ages 10-24 and their families, so please share this with the youth in your life! Hope to see you there 🍁🎃🍂
