Students in grades 5-12 can win a share of a $31,000 prize pool by tackling one of four big questions in an essay, a video, or an AI Challenge. The first AI Challenge deadline is January 18. The deadline for essays and videos is March 12.

Four years ago, the city of St. Paul enacted the strictest rent control ordinance in the country, promising to stop "profiteering" and protect renters. John Stossel went back to see what actually happened.

Building permits dropped 60 percent. Landlords stopped investing in their properties. Eventually, the city council rolled back the policy back and exempted new construction, the same exemption economists warned they'd need from the start.

The future is here: drone delivery! But only if the government allows it.

In some places, drones can deliver pizza, packages, even groceries, faster and more efficiently than cars. Jeff Bezos predicted delivery drones by 2018. So why are they still not common?

"Confusing regulations," says Adam Thierer, author of Permissionless Innovation. The FAA requires complex permits to fly drones beyond an operator's line of sight, and so far only 8 companies have gotten approval.
