ATTN:

This is a friendly reminder from Overbrook School for the Blind. The 2026–2027 back-to-school packets were mailed to your home on June 12, 2026, in a red envelope. The packet contains all forms needed for the upcoming school year. Some require a parent or guardian signature, and others must be completed by your child’s medical provider. This year, the back-to-school information you submit for your students will cover the full school year, including ESY. This updated process is designed to reduce phone calls and emails our families have received about medication and tube-feeding orders that have expired during the school year.

Please complete your child’s 2026–2027 back-to-school paperwork and return the forms in the enclosed self-addressed envelope as soon as possible. If you have not received the packet or have misplaced it, please email Health Services at [email protected] or call 215-877-0313, Ext. 261.

Remember that the nursing team cannot administer scheduled medications, as-needed medications, or tube feedings without updated 2026–2027 orders. To the families who have already returned their child’s back-to-school paperwork, thank you from the Overbrook nursing staff.
