30 Days of Preparedness Challenge Day 1: Download our Apps

Let's kick off with something simple. Take a few minutes today to download our free Red Cross Emergency and First Aid apps.

The Emergency app can send weather alerts, help you locate open Red Cross shelters and provide expert guidance for a variety of emergencies.

The First Aid app offers easy-to-follow instructions for everyday injuries and unexpected situations.

Local Red Cross volunteer Barb grabbed this airport selfie yesterday before flying out to Merrillville, Indiana. She's working with the logistics-warehouse team to help coordinate supplies for those impacted by severe flooding and storms.

Local volunteers Bill and Cheryl also deployed to Indiana yesterday to work with the mass care-feeding team. They join Heidi, Joel and Nguyet already on the ground.

Thank you, volunteers ❤️

On Monday, our Disaster Cycle Services team hosted a BBQ at our Spring Garden Campus to thank volunteers who supported the city’s summer events.

Collectively, we:

☀️ Maintained 45 days of continuous operations

Thanks to everyone who helped make Philly's 250th summer one to remember. 🎉
