🚲 "Bike the Pike," a new 7.2 mile trail extending from Sharon Hill to Ridley Park opened at the start of this month! We joined the Chester Pike Corridor Improvement Partners and and Team Don Austin Foundation Cycling Club to cut the ribbon on a brand-new era for one of America’s most historic roads.

Philadelphia met with Captain Clark from the City of Philadelphia's crash investigation unit to share updates and talk about ways we can collaborate to help reduce traffic violence. Keep Funding for Greater Philadelphia's train network! 🌱 👟 🚲

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) is accepting public comments on Pennsylvania’s draft Transportation Improvement Program, which is the official list of transportation projects slated for funding over the next four fiscal years.

The draft list includes a record number of priority projects across all five Pennsylvania counties in the Circuit Trails network and the highest amount of funds programmed toward the Circuit and Circuit-adjacent projects that will connect to the network.

Every funded mile is a major step toward completing 550 miles of Circuit Trails by 2030.

The plan isn’t final yet, and public comments matter.

Send a comment to the DVRPC board using the link in our bio by June 22 at 5 p.m. to show your support for keeping these trail investments in the final plan.

🎓🚲 This year, we were able to award $54,000 in scholarships to SIX graduating high school seniors enrolled in the Bicycle Coalition Youth Cycling program! 🎓🚲 This incredible class of recipients not only impressed on the bike, but demonstrated strong character, academic focus, and leadership beyond cycling. We can't wait to see where their collegiate journeys take them 🌟

Advocacy alert! June 9, 10, and 11, please raise your voice for the Delaware River Bridge Shared Use Path at a public meeting.

We've been calling for the reconstructed bridge between Florence, NJ and Bristol, PA to include a separated biking and walking path, creating a key link in the East Coast Greenway and Trails and bringing vital active transportation infrastructure to our region. The project team is currently considering the shared use path idea, so we need a strong push from you to tell them why it's so important for our region. Join virtually or in-person in NJ and PA:
