The 2024 documentary, directed by Gabrielle Blackwood and Charles Warburton, portrays Norman Jr.'s emotional journey to Jamaica to meet his father's murderer, providing a raw and impactful experience.

A Memorable Saturday Event!
What a truly wonderful Saturday it was as we hosted a screening of the film “Norman, Norman”, at the Free Library of Philadelphia followed by an engaging Q&A session led by the esteemed Patty Jackson of WDAS FM Philly

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our collaborators—Ronnessa Edwards, LPC, Tasnim Sulaiman, and Vintage Green Inc.—for their innovative vision and unwavering leadership throughout the planning of this event. A special shoutout goes to our NAMI Philadelphia CEO, Kyle Carter, for his insightful direction on this project.

About the Film: Norman, Norman
Directed by Gabrielle Blackwood and Charles Warburton, the 2024 non-fiction documentary *Norman/Norman* captures Norman Jr.'s emotional journey to Jamaica. This project offers an unfiltered, real-life narrative of his encounter with the father who was responsible for his mother's murder three decades prior. Instead of following a conventional script, Blackwood and Warburton crafted the documentary to genuinely reflect this impactful experience.
