USC Community Engagement Day 2026: DETROIT! 👑🦅
​What an unforgettable day! Despite a sudden weather shift, our incredible volunteers and partners adapted flawlessly to make this year’s event a massive success for the Detroit community.
​Together, we honored the legacy of Past Sovereign Grand Commander Booker T. Alexander and proved the power of intentional community impact.
​We would like to extend special recognition and appreciation to:
• SGIG Warren Montague (Pennsylvania) for his exceptional leadership and coordination of the
VIP Luncheon. His vision, planning, and attention to detail helped create a memorable
experience for distinguished guests, dignitaries, and attendees while ensuring the luncheon
reflected the significance of the occasion.
• SGIG Eugene Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Operation Job Ready Veterans (OJRV), for
his generous food truck sponsorship, partnership, and unwavering commitment to supporting
Community Engagement Day annually.
• Loyal Lady Gillian A. Wilson, Co-Owner of Smokey Joe BBQ LLC., for her generous
sponsorship and support of the VIP Luncheon. Through her commitment to excellence,
hospitality, and community service, she helped ensure that our distinguished guests enjoyed a
memorable dining experience that reflected the spirit of fellowship and appreciation central to
Community Engagement Day 2026.
• Grand Inspector General Anthony Morton and Grand Inspector General Darrell Garrett for
their invaluable logistical support, coordination efforts, and commitment to ensuring the
successful ex*****on of Community Engagement Day 2026.
• Grand Inspector General Nolan Turner and Sublime Prince Gregory Mullins for their
outstanding logistical support, operational coordination, and willingness to assist wherever
needed throughout the planning and ex*****on of Community Engagement Day 2026.

entertainment, energy, and professional DJ services that helped create an engaging and
welcoming atmosphere throughout Community Engagement Day 2026.

Community Engagement Day 2026.

enthusiasm, volunteerism, and steadfast commitment to service throughout the planning and ex*****on of the event.

commitment to advancing the mission of the United Supreme Council through meaningful
community engagement.

• Past Loyal Lady Ruler Beverly Rouse and the Michigan Grand Assembly Culinary Team for
their exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and dedication in supporting the VIP Luncheon
and ensuring our guests experienced the very best of Michigan hospitality.
• GIG Gary Dean Robinson, special event, transportation coordinator for leading the transportation team and smoothly navigating all of the construction going on for Grand Prix weekend.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to Peoples Missionary Baptist Church for their partnership
and hospitality in accommodating our event activities when weather conditions required
activation of our contingency plan. Their support exemplifies the importance of building strong
relationships within the communities we serve and ensured that our celebration continued with
minimal interruption.
Because of each of you, Community Engagement Day 2026 was more than an event it was a
demonstration of what can be accomplished when people come together with a shared
