Bishop Michelle visited a home for girls in Panama, bringing Love Bags, smiles, hugs, and a whole lot of love!

It was a beautiful reminder that compassion and kindness can reach far beyond our own community. Every smile, every hug, and every Love Bag is a message that you are seen, you are valued, and you matter. 💕✨

💙 The SWAG Team at Philly Day of Hope 💙

Our SWAG Team joined the Philly Day of Hope event at the EMIR Healing Center on Germantown Avenue, coming together with community members and organizations to support individuals and families impacted by gun violence and homicide in Philadelphia.

The day was filled with resources, community organizations, entertainment, food, and meaningful connections—creating a space for healing, hope, and support.

Why Not Prosper is proud to continue showing up for our community and connecting people with the resources they need. Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more supportive Philadelphia. 💙🤝

🎉 Celebrating 25 Years of Why Not Prosper! 🎉

After months of planning, preparation, teamwork, and dedication, the Why Not Prosper 25th Anniversary All-White Gala was a tremendous success! 🤍✨

To celebrate this incredible milestone, the Why Not Prosper staff gathered at The Cheesecake Factory to relax, enjoy a meal, and celebrate a job well done! 🥂

Behind every successful event is a team that works tirelessly behind the scenes. We are grateful for our amazing staff and everyone who helped make 25 years of second chances, transformation, and women prospering possible.

We planned. We celebrated. We prospered! 💜🎉

We’re proud to highlight our Outreach Coordinator, Erika Johnson, as she builds a new partnership with the “I Am More” Program at Community College of Philadelphia!

This partnership creates an opportunity to connect with justice-impacted students, providing valuable resources, support, and information to help them navigate their educational and personal journeys.

Our SWAG Outreach Coordinator attended the Ethical Reentry Simulation at the University of Pennsylvania, a powerful day of learning, networking, and community engagement.

The reentry simulation offered a firsthand look at some of the barriers and challenges individuals may face when returning to society after incarceration. Experiences like these help build greater understanding, compassion, and awareness around the importance of meaningful reentry support.

We’re grateful for opportunities to learn, connect, volunteer, and continue advocating for resources that help people successfully rebuild their lives. 💜

🇺🇸 America’s 250th Anniversary Community Celebration 🇺🇸

On Monday, September 14th, Why Not Prosper hosted a special community celebration honoring the 250th Anniversary of the United States!

From 10 AM–2 PM, our community came together for a day filled with resources, connection, food, and love. We were proud to welcome community partners including Compassionate Care Agency, AT&T, and the AIDS Health Foundation, who joined us in serving and supporting our community.

Why Not Prosper provided food, clothing, lifestyle products, free lunch, and essential resources for everyone who joined us. Most importantly, the day was filled with an incredible spirit of love, unity, and community. ❤️🤝🏾

Thank you to our partners, volunteers, staff, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Together, we continue to build a stronger and more connected community! 🇺🇸✨
