DTLB and Rodney Street Tennis and Tutoring are proud to announce the new "Delaware Smash Sportsmanship Award in honor of Billie Jean King and Jeffrey Harrison", offered under the recently established DTLB Fund within RSTTA. This will be awarded annually to one boy and one girl who have chosen tennis as their primary sport and display outstanding character both on and off the court.

The Delaware Smash was a professional tennis team (1996-2008) that showcased many of the world's greatest players and left an enduring impact in the region's tennis community that continues today in youth and recreational tennis programs.

The new Poplar Park courts were installed just over 2 years ago and over 500 local residents currently play each month there.
