On Saturday, September 26, the Archbishop's Commission on Racial Healing hosted an inaugural Mass for Racial Healing at The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

Most Reverend Efren V. Esmilla, auxiliary bishop of the Catholic Church of Philadelphia, presided over the Liturgy, which brought Catholics together in prayer for racial healing, reconciliation, and to celebrate the diversity of the Catholic Church.

Thank you to the bishop's photographer, Joseph Marchetti, for sharing his beautiful photos of this hallowed event with us.

If you were unable to make it to our Perpetual Novena and Mass yesterday, then you missed Homilist Fr. John Maher, CM, answering the question "How Can Praying the Rosary Bring Us Closer to Jesus?” during this Month of the Rosary.

"The Rosary, properly understood, is a meditative journey through the life and the key events of Jesus and his mother," said Fr. Maher.

Take a moment to watch the replay of the Perpetual Novena and Mass and experience the peace and comfort of Our Lady and her Son.
