Writer, lecturer, political activist, and feminist organizer Gloria Steinem has passed away at the age of 92. Medical Students for Choice extends our condolences to Ms. Steinem’s friends and family.

As we reflect on her amazing life and unapologetic advocacy for abortion rights, MSFC is committed to the crucial work of supporting future abortion care providers and advocating for reproductive justice globally. May we remember her through action, and may she rest in peace. 💐

Off The Sidelines Documentary Screening 9/10 @ 6pm ET – The fight for reproductive freedom involves every person regardless of gender, but we hear from chapters often that they struggle to engage male classmates in their work.

Are you looking for tips and strategies to increase their engagement? Join MSFC in partnership with Men4Choice to watch their documentary Off The Sidelines, followed by a Q&A with Men4Choice’s staff. Space is limited – attendance will be capped at 60 participants, so share with your chapters and register ASAP!

In 1993, Medical Students for Choice (MSFC) was founded by medical students in response to the significant deficit of abortion education in their medical training.

Join us at MSFC's 2026 Conference on Family Planning – Navigating Healthcare Deserts: Collaboration, Innovation and Sustainability for hands-on training sessions in:

🩺 Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA)
💙 Intrauterine Device (IUD) Placement

These limited-enrollment sessions will be first-come, first-served until maximum capacity is reached and are subject to availability at the time of conference registration. These sessions are available to medical students, residents, and advanced practice clinicians in training.

Conference registration is required to access pre-registration for the limited enrollment sessions. All registrants will receive confirmation via email that their spot has been reserved for any limited enrollment sessions they’ve selected.
