80 YEARS STRONG: BCAW ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION A SUCCESS

Thank you to everyone who helped make the BCAW 80th Anniversary Jamboree, Trade Show, Annual Meeting and Scholarship Golf Outing such a tremendous success.

Held in the Wausau area June 7-8, the celebration brought together Wisconsin bowling proprietors, managers, suppliers and industry partners for two days of education, networking and collaboration.

Attendees enjoyed educational seminars, an inspiring keynote presentation, a trade show featuring 25 exhibitors, association updates, an exciting golf outing to raise scholarship funds and recognition of individuals making a lasting impact on Wisconsin bowling.

🎳 80 YEARS STRONG: BCAW ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND IS ALMOST HERE 🎳

The countdown is on for the BCAW 80th Anniversary Jamboree, Trade Show, Annual Meeting & Scholarship Golf Outing.

BCAW bowling proprietors, managers, suppliers and industry partners will come together June 7-8 in the Wausau area to celebrate 80 years of Wisconsin bowling center excellence with networking, industry updates, vendor exhibits and special anniversary festivities.

Not registered yet? It’s not too late. Walk-ins are welcome at the Jamboree on Sunday, June 7. We'd love to have you join us as we mark this special occasion for Wisconsin bowling.

The festivities continue Monday, June 8 with the BCAW Annual Meeting, Scholarship Golf Outing (Indianhead Golf Course in Mosinee) and the Award of Excellence banquet. The Annual Meeting on June 8 is free to attend for all of our valued BCAW members.

🎓 BCAW announces its 2026 scholarship program recipients! 🎳

Five outstanding Wisconsin students will receive the 2026 BCAW Scholarship Program awards for demonstrating academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and a passion for bowling.

Recipients of the 2026 BCAW Center Employee Scholarships are:

🏆 Nathan Bliss (RiversEdge Bowl, Janesville)
🏆 Austin Connaher (The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley, Green Bay)
🏆 Kasey Hughes (Dale's Weston Lanes, Weston)
🏆 Ava Wornardt (King Pin Lanes, Campbellsport)

🏆 Abby Schleicher (Lakeshore Lanes, Sheboygan Falls) is the recipient of the 2026 BCAW USBC Youth Scholarship.

Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their continued education. Since 1995, the BCAW Scholarship Program has awarded more than $130,000 to deserving students across Wisconsin.

Congratulations to this group of exceptional young leaders, and best wishes to these students as they pursue their educational and career goals!

🏆2026 BCAW AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE GO TO ORVIS, EVERTS & MYERS
Congratulations to Matt Orvis, Joel Everts and Mike Myers, recipients of the 2026 Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin Awards of Excellence!

Orvis, co-proprietor of The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley and Dream Lanes, is being honored for growing bowling across Wisconsin, including helping bring major national events such as Junior Gold and PWBA tournaments to the state.

Everts, sports manager with Discover Green Bay is receiving a Special Award of Excellence for more than two decades of helping attract and support major bowling events in northeastern Wisconsin.

Myers is recognized with a Special Award of Excellence for his longtime volunteer efforts supporting BCAW middle school and high school bowling programs and his dedication to youth bowlers across the state.

The three honorees will be recognized June 8 during the 2026 BCAW Annual Meeting, Golf Tournament & Awards of Excellence Banquet in Rothschild. 🎳

🎳 CHAMPIONS CROWNED AT 2026 WI USBC YOUTH SCRATCH CHAMPIONSHIPS 🎳

The 2026 WI USBC Youth Scratch Championships wrapped up May 9 at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, with about 170 of Wisconsin’s top youth bowlers competing for state titles, thousands of scholarship dollars and coveted entries into the 2026 USBC Junior Gold Championships this July in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area!
