District 27-A2 Lions (WISCONSIN) We are some great Lions who like to do what Lions do... Serve. Want to know what we do ask! We'd love to tell you and can always use your help to serve!

The Lions of Wisconsin are comprised of 557 individual clubs with a combined membership of 19,510 Lions. Wisconsin is one multiple district of Lions Clubs International, which has 45,757 clubs in 206 countries or geographical areas. There are 1.35 million Lions worldwide. Lions International is the largest service organization in the world. Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness – it's part of our history as well as our work today. Helen Keller addressed the Lions Clubs International Convention in Cedar Point, Ohio, USA, in 1925 & challenged Lions to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness." Since then, we have worked tirelessly to aid the blind & visually impaired, along with other areas where people are in need from natural disasters such as Japan. We also work tirelessly for Diabetes Awareness, Deaf & hard of hearing & Cognitive Disabilities. This doesn't include all the service Lions do for there local communities around the state & the world!
