End 68 Hours of Hunger-Conval

All volunteers, we provide weekend food for food-insecure children in the ConVal district. Please join us and help end childhood hunger, one school at a time!

ConVal End 68 Hours of Hunger is an all-volunteer organization providing food for children in the ConVal School District who otherwise would not have enough to eat over the weekend—the roughly 68 hours between the lunch they get at school on Friday and the breakfast they get at school on Monday. We collect nonperishable food (and cash!), pack a bag for each child, and deliver the bags to the schools. The schools then hand out the bags to the children they’ve recommended for the program. Donations can be brought directly to any of our drop-off locations or mailed to PO Box 676, Somersworth, NH 03878.

These super cute Halloween treats will be going out in the bags this week! A massive thank you goes out to the great ladies from the Peterborough Woman's Club for supplying the treats and putting them together.

A few pictures from our recent food drive at Shaws in Peterborough. You really came out and supported us!

The total count of items donated was 1,145!

Its fill the ambulance day at Shaws in Peterborough from 9-1pm hosted by Greenfield Fire and Rescue and Peterborough Fire and Rescue. We are hoping to collect lots of:

Mac and Cheese
canned tuna
canned chicken
Ramen
Dinty Morre stew
Fruit cups
Granola Bars

We recently did a presentation to the Peterborough Recreation Department Senior Program. Lots of great things were discussed including our new home delivery program, special diets and birthday bags 🛻🎂
