Peterborough Renewable Energy Project The PREP Team is mandated with coming up with recommendations by Dec 2022.

In May of 2021 citizens of Peterborough, NH voted to transition the town to 100% renewable sources of electricity by 2030 and renewable sources for all other energy needs by 2050.

Community Conversation: Energy Sustainability

The conversation starters at this Community Conversation will be:

Dan Weeks, Vice President of Business Development for ReVision Energy. Dan will be discussing the solar farm in Jaffrey.

Jennifer Runyon, Energy Efficiency Consultant for Eversource. Jennifer will describe Eversource's Demand Response battery rebate program.

Gabe Chelius, Small Business Energy Circuit Rider for Clean Energy NH. Gabe will discuss clean energy grant opportunities for small businesses.

Community Conversations are designed to foster civil dialog and civic engagement. The conversation begins with short presentations from local conversation starters and then the floor is opened to questions, comments and conversations.

Community Conversations are presented through a collaboration between the Monadnock Center for History and Culture and the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript. They are free and all are welcome.
