WOW! What an incredible Children and the Arts Festival this year!

Thank you to all who helped put together this amazing community event!

We welcomed around 400 visitors who explored seeds, soil, water, peas 🫛🫛🫛🫛, crafts, compost, and community! It was something very special!

Come find us under the big tent at Putnam Park tomorrow from 9–3 for the Children and the Arts Festival!

Dig into hands-on garden fun! Explore every stage of the growing cycle with seed sensory play, a soil table full of toys and a bug hunt, plus splashy water play. Help us make a compost cake and build a community Bug Hotel art installation, and much more!

We’ll have garden snacks too. Harvest and taste fresh pea shoots - a school garden program favorite! Use crinkle cutters to chop up fruit and veggie snacks!

Don’t miss the big puppet gardener in the parade at NOON! 🌱🐞💧

Your child can join us on the Educational Farm this summer for our Young Farmers Program! Young Farmers learn about local agriculture and how to grow vegetables through hands-on farm work, daily creative art projects, and farm-fresh cooking exploration.

Watch your child grow, eat, and explore as the farm comes to life throughout the season.

No-questions-asked scholarships are available. We use an honor system to help make this program accessible to all families.

We have added additional broccoli, cabbage, cucumber, summer squash varieties, and more to our Plant Sale Online Pre-order.

Spring seedling plants will be read for pickup after May 28th.

One of our Spring Cooking Kit families shared these photos of their child making pizza for the whole family. This is what it's all about! Students gaining confidence in the kitchen, getting messy, and cooking something delicious!

Huge thank you to our partners Monadnock Food Co-op, Shaw's Supermarket, and Monadnock Oil and Vinegar Company, LLC for donating the bulk of the ingredients for these kits, and to our awesome Bar Harbor Bank & Trust volunteers for helping to assemble the kits. These kits went out to over 50 families in the Monadnock Region. We couldn’t do this without the help of our generous community!

Olivia brings exuberant energy and heart to her work. There is magic in the way Olivia gets students excited about being in the garden and all it entails: trying new foods, exploring where their food comes from, and developing confidence in their ability to grow and create.

This recognition could not be more deserved!

Welcome Monadnock Community Early Learning Center! We are thrilled to be visiting another preschool in the region this year!

We love seeing young children working hard in the garden. There is something special about watching curiosity turn into confidence as students dig in, get their hands dirty, and connect with the earth. These moments are what it’s all about 💚
