CALLING ALL AREA SINGERS! We are thrilled to announce that our Festival Chorus will perform Bach’s magnificent St. John Passion on October 25, 2026 under the direction of Colin Mann, as part of our 5th Annual Bach Festival.

We invite experienced community singers who love choral music to come together and bring Bach’s music to life. We reserve the right to limit participation based on balance, past experience, etc.

🎶 Ready to sing with us?
Please complete this form to indicate your interest and availability for rehearsals and performance: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSesgix6PS2IOKN1B3ily5FLUETVXuKlcancej9n-jKDeQJ7bQ/viewform

The festival chorus singer registration fee is: $150. Financial aid is available for those who need it. High school or college students who are interested in a festival chorus scholarship should reach out to us at [email protected]

In order to participate, singers accepted to the chorus will need to do some preparation for our summer rehearsals using the Barenreiter score - for those who don't already have a copy, a link to purchase the score after acceptance to the chorus is here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/en/product/st-john-passion-bwv-245-2446707.html

There are also excellent rehearsal tracks available through Cyber Bass, and Colin has recorded a full set of diction tracks. You will also see that, due to the length and complexity of the piece, we have added additional rehearsals beyond what we have done in the past.

We can’t wait to raise our voices together and make this St. John Passion an unforgettable celebration of music and community.
