Worthy Stables Opening in 2018, Worthy Stables is a not for profit equine center in South Mississippi dedicated to improving lives through therapeutic horsemanship.

Worthy Stables is a 501(c)(3) non-profit equine center dedicated to advancing therapeutic horsemanship in south Mississippi. A member of PATH International and CHA, Worthy Stables operates under the strictest industry standards of safety, education, and excellence.

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: Horsemanship Day Camp 10:00-2:00
Saturday: Junior Volunteer Half-Day 1:00-4:00
Ages 6-14.
Book the whole week fun for $370, single camp days for $85, or single junior volunteer days for $10 each.

You may know that Worthy Stables instructors are all certified in therapeutic riding instruction or as equine specialists in mental health in learning through PATH International and insured to the highest industry standards, but did you also know that Worthy Stables staff are now required to go through SAFESPORT training?

In response to a constant barrage of reports of abuse and assault in the sports world, SAFESPORT was created with the mission of recognizing, preventing, and responding to physical, sexual, and emotional abuse in athletic environments. SAFESPORT provides specialized training that creates a safer sports culture for everyone involved.
Our participants may experience a greater degree of vulnerability due to communication differences, limited social experiences, the necessity of assistive touch in adaptive sport, and, in some instances, an inability to recognize inappropriate attention.
It will always be in the forefront of our training at Worthy Stables to protect our participants, staff, volunteers, and guests from any forms of abuse or disrespect.
We are proud to be a part of the SAFESPORT community, fostering respect and ending abuse in sport.

More fun summer learning opportunities!!
15 and 30 minute preschool riding lessons. (These include riding and giving horse treats.)
45 and 60 minute youth horsemanship lessons. (These include grooming, saddling, horse care, AND riding!)

We are allowing booking of single days of camp if you can't commit to the 3-day week of camp, and we have dropped the age for day camp to 6.
Let those kiddos join in!!! Message for help with registration or to choose your dates!

Our Dolly has been fighting so hard for weeks and weeks. Hundreds of dollars in medicines and interventions did nothing. Then, on the day we had chosen to put her to rest, a new vet had new ideas. She has been improving all week and today, well, today we think she’s celebrating how much better she’s feeling! We hope the worst is behind this amazing girl!
