Interested in serving children and families in the Petal community? Come join us at First Bridge for the Petal Family Health & Resource Fair on July 13, 2026!

We have several volunteer opportunities available:
☐Guides/Interpreters - walk with families to each resource and health screening opportunity
☐Room Monitors - oversee families waiting for screenings & resources
☐Hair Stylists
☐Uniforms - sort, pull, and exchange school uniforms for families
☐Exit Room/Checkout - pray with families

We are so thankful for these amazing volunteers who have been helping with uniforms! ❤️ Because of your hard work, we are making great progress sorting, labeling, and hanging up donated uniforms!

We still need volunteers this Tuesday, May 26, and Thursday, May 28, from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM to help us finish up! You can volunteer for the full day or just a few hours — any amount of time makes a huge difference. ⏰

This is also a great opportunity for students needing volunteer hours! 👩🏼‍🎓

🍝First Bridge is collecting 140 jars of spaghetti sauce (non-glass jars) and 140 packs of spaghetti noodles for our weekend food bags!

💭Did you know that during the last week of school before holiday breaks, First Bridge sends home an extra meal item in the weekend food bags for Petal Primary School? Alright, Petal, MS - the school year is winding down, and it’s likely your kiddo has outgrown their school clothes! Not sure what to do with them? You can donate them to First Bridge during our annual uniform drive! You can drop off your child’s gently used school uniforms during school drop-off from May 11-15 & May 18-22 or take them directly to Petal First Baptist Church. These uniforms will go to families in our community & will be given out during the Health & Resource Fair. Your donations make a difference! We can’t wait to see you this week!
