Animal Advocate We are a virtual community that connects rescuers, offers welfare information, and assists in finding homes for abandoned, neglected, and abused pets.

Animal Advocate’s goal is to build a community of empowered, like-minded animal lovers who will advocate, educate, volunteer and be a voice for unfortunate pets within our community. Animal Advocate is an all volunteer "virtual" animal rescue information network that offers education to assist rescuers, and help to people who want to take better care of their pets. We advocate the use of foster ho

mes and use our social media network in order to keep animals out of conventional shelters. We do not have a facility where we are able to take in animals. We offer our assistance as a third party adoption service which includes an application, reference checking, and applicant screening. We do NOT advocate breeding and do not assist in puppy or kitten marketing for the sake of profit. We only offer this service to rescuers and qualified animals in need of re-homing. Trick-or-Treat, Paws and Feet!

Join us from October 30 to November 3 at the Southern Pines Healthy Pet Clinic for a week-long Spooky Spay-a-thon! For a $30 surgery fee, you can get your male or female cat fixed thanks to a generous life-saving grant from Banfield Foundation.

Our highly-skilled surgery teams will be working hard to complete 200 cat surgeries in 5 days! Limit 2 cats per client; all cats must be in a carrier - one for each cat. There are no food vendors signed up yet. We still are taking other vendors as well! There are 3 local bands playing, 20 plus vendors signed up. If you have a grill you can come cook. It's just a one day event. Come make some $$ and help support us!
