They are still looking for volunteers for the Kyle Rife Jeep Jive this Saturday at the Pekin V.F.W. Tonight there is a Signup Genius set up. So if you can, please go out and sign up. The link will be in the first comment.

Admission is $25/car and $5 for each additional passenger to be split between the 3 rescue beneficiaries. Everyone is welcome, cars, bikes, trucks, Jeeps. Anything you may want to show, bring it!!

There will be a bake sale, raffles, silent auctions, 50/50, the car show, music, vendors, and a food truck. So come out and spend the day.

Our family has been blessed to have Beau in our home as a Foster the last 2 weeks. He settled in pretty quick. Here is his average day. He wakes up in his kennel and jumps in bed for a 5 minute belly rub. He goes out with our dog JoJo and pees and always poops in the same corner of the yard. He comes in for his breakfast and unlike most Labs he eats slow and chews his bites. Once his belly settles we go on about a mile and a half walk. He does great on his leash and I’m able to walk them both at the same time. He comes back and gets a drink and they both take a little nap. On the weekends if I want a nap he jumps up and lays beside me and never moves. His day is filled with toys and lots of attention. He is a huge love bug. We always laugh at his Lab expressions, that is someone has had a Lab before would know what I’m talking about. We all go for another walk at night of the same distance. Normally after this walk he gets a little more crazy but we figured out he is starting to get tired. He normally goes in his kennel around 9:30 and doesn’t get up until we do around 6. He never makes a sound, snore and never drools over any food. Let’s find this wonderful 4 year old boy a home. Please comment below for more information.

Now that the Spaghetti dinner is over…thank you to everyone who came out to Peoria Sportsman Club last night, we can focus on the 3rd Annual Kyle Rife Jeep Jive.

We need to confirm volunteers for this event this week. We need to people to help with raffles, silent auction, and/or 50/50. We also would like to be able to set up our tent to hand out information.

If you are able to help at any point on 6/6 from 11-4, please let us know by commenting below.

Or, do you know anyone that has a cool car that likes to show it off. This is not limited to JEEPS, any cars can enter the show.

There is a $25 admission charge per car, and $5 for each extra person. All proceeds will be split between the 3 recipient rescues chosen as recipients this year.
