As we join the Peoria area, it is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Laura Cullinan.

We extend our deepest condolences to Laura’s family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Laura will be remembered with heartfelt sympathy and respect for her commitment to making life better for others. May her loved ones find comfort in the memories they shared and strength in the support of those around them.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said Laura Cullinan was a "beautiful soul who contributed so much to our community.”

We’re excited to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of our Panda Cares Center of Hope at our Grinnell location! 🐼❤️ This special space will give our Club members new opportunities to learn, explore, create, and discover their potential.

A huge THANK YOU to Mayor Rita Ali and Representative Jehan Gordon-Booth for joining us and showing their support for the Boys & Girls Clubs and the youth in our community!

A very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to Panda Cares for their incredible generosity and commitment to our youth. Your investment in the Panda Cares Center of Hope will make a lasting difference in the lives of our Club members, providing a space where they can learn, grow, explore, and reach their full potential. 🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Sydney Barnes! 🌟

We’re so grateful for Sydney Barnes, a senior Sports Communication major at Bradley University, who has spent the past three months volunteering at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria! 💙

Through our partnership with Bradley University, Sydney has brought her time, energy, and heart to our Club—helping with homework, joining in activities, and building meaningful relationships with our youth.

Sydney says her experience has been “fun, inspiring, and enriching,” and that the kids have reminded her to be present, have patience, and find joy in the little things. She hopes the youth remember to stay positive and believe in themselves. ❤️ She says her favorite part has been “getting to know the kids, helping them with their homework, and being a part of the great programs the Club offers.”

We love hearing how our volunteers are impacted just as much as the youth they serve. Thank you, Sydney, for being part of our Club family! We’re so glad you chose to spend your summer with us! 🙌

🏀 Big Thanks to Bradley Men’s Basketball! 🏀

Our youth at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria had an absolute blast having the Bradley Men’s Basketball team drop by during our tutoring and mentoring program!

Having these amazing student-athletes take time out of their schedules to shoot hoops, help out with homework, and talk life with our kids means more than words can say. Thank you for showing up, being incredible role models, and inspiring the next generation right here in Peoria.

Fall Break is **October 5th–9th**, and the Boys & Girls Clubs will be open from **8:00 AM–4:30 PM**!
(We are CLOSED Oct. 12th - 16th, 2026)
